As a Senior Production Engineer working with Destiny’s Shared Art teams I collaborated closely with engineers and artists to deliver ambitious new and reprised destinations.
Accomplishments#
- Worked diligently with engineering and world art stakeholders to track down and resolve physics and rendering issues related to ambitious nature of the Neomuna destination.
- Aided in the technical setup and troubleshooting of reprised destinations used for Destiny 2’s year 6 seasonal content.
Responsibilities#
On Lightfall, I was embedded with Destiny 2’s ‘Shared Art’ team working in close collaboration with the world art, lighting, palette, skies, and graphics engineering teams that built Destiny 2’s Year 6 Content. This content included:
- The new Neomuna destination
- The reprised Titan location and the waters beneath it in Season of the Deep
- Savathun’s Spire in Season of the Witch
- All Raid and Dungeon locations within the expansion and its seasons.
Now a Senior Production Engineer on the Shared Art team, I acted as a subject matter expert on all components of the shared art teams tools workflows, as well as the nuances of the technical content setup. Additionally, I took a more active roll in training and mentoring the newer Production Engineers now working in or collaborating with the shared art group.
